Tiger Woods won the weather-hit Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill for an eighth time to reclaim the world No1 ranking for the first time since October 2010, replacing Rory McIlroy.
Woods, who collected his 77th career PGA Tour win and third in five starts this season, shot a final-round two-under 70 for a 13-under 275 total that left him two shots clear of the runner-up, Justin Rose (70).
A ferocious storm halted play after two holes on Sunday but an unruffled Woods returned to work under brilliant blue skies to finish his final round with five birdies and three bogeys.

Woods's eighth win at "Arnie's Place" ties him with Sam Snead for the most victories at a single PGA Tour event.
"It [the No1 ranking] was a by-product of hard work, patience and getting back to playing golf tournaments," said the 37-year-old, who has won 14 majors.
"I've won some golf tournaments in the last couple of years and consequently I've moved up."
